The height of Mount Giovi is a set of territories of the Mountain, located on the extension of the backbone of M. Morello and M. Senario, bordered to the north by the Florentine Valdarno, and surrounded to the north and east of the river Sieve. The backbone reaches its peak with the highest peak of Mount Giovi with its 982mt. The complex is situated in mountainous province of Florence, divided on various municipalities; Borgo San Lorenzo and Pontassieve and to a lesser extent Rufina, and Dicomano Vicchio. Its position was strategically used in the fight for liberation of the Second World War.
