Subbiano, of Roman origin, was bought then by that noble Grifone sold to Albertino. It was dominated then by Tarlati of Pietramala until the submission of the government of Fiorentino. The village of Subbiano is a short distance from the banks of the River Arno, which arise from the houses, together with the ancient buildings and the old mills. The country is also a castle which overlooks the river, whose access point tower is a door leading into a small courtyard open to the river. The landscape consists of Subbiano campaigns planted with olive groves and vineyards, with rows of cypress trees that draw the outline of the roads that lead to old farmhouses.
